Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Protocol Academy platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Protocol Academy on behalf of an organization, you agree to these Terms on that organization's behalf.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Protocol Academy. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account or access the platform in a way that circumvents intended limits.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or its data.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or misuse the AI grading and voice features.
• Use the platform to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

Content & intellectual property

Course materials, scenarios, assessments, and platform software are owned by Protocol Academy or its licensors and are provided for your personal or organizational training use only. You retain ownership of responses and content you submit; you grant us a limited license to process that content to provide the service (for example, grading and feedback). Certificates issued reflect your completion and may not be altered.

Subscriptions & billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Where paid plans apply, the applicable prices, billing period, and any trial or refund terms will be presented at purchase. You are responsible for charges incurred under your account. Organizational plans are governed by the agreement with that organization.

AI-assisted features

Written case studies and voice scenarios are evaluated with AI assistance to provide feedback and scores. These evaluations are provided for learning purposes and may not be perfectly accurate; they are not professional, legal, or career advice.

Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Protocol Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or where necessary to protect the platform or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
